Origin Story
My name is Whitney Hixenbaugh and I’ve always been captivated by the transformative power of art. From the vibrant colors of a sunset to the intricate details of a pencil sketch, art has been my constant source of inspiration and solace. After years of nurturing my passion through continuing education, self-study and experimentation and faced with my favorite role yet as Yaya (with two beautiful granddaughters and a grandson on the way), I’ve finally decided to take the leap and follow my dream of opening an art studio. With a heart full of determination, an amazingly supportive husband, and a head full of creative ideas, I’m committed to creating a space where artists of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn, create, and explore the boundless possibilities of artistic expression. This studio isn’t just about brushes and canvases—it’s about fostering a supportive community, nurturing talent, and empowering individuals to unleash their inner artist. I believe that art has the power to enrich lives, spark imagination, and transcend boundaries, and I’m excited to embark on this journey of bringing that vision to life. Join me as we paint a colorful canvas of creativity and inspiration, one brushstroke at a time.
